Exploring Indonesia

The Indonesian Archipelago is a 3,000-mile chain of islands, comprising a smorgasbord of cultures, languages, cuisines, architecture, dance forms, arts, crafts, funeral customs, and geography. Go a few miles, take the ferry between Java and Bali, hop a Merpati Nusantara flight to Sulawesi or Flores, and everything changes.

We haven't been everywhere and would go back at the drop of a hat—but for people who haven't been everywhere we've been, nevertheless, to some unusual places, and we want to share them with you.

More pages will be forthcoming very soon, so please check back.
