Buster died of kidney failure on the
afternoon of March 10, 2003. His illness was brief, and then he was gone. He
was only two and a half years old.
Sean e-mailed Wayne that afternoon: "He
will go to sleep in arms of the family that loved him so much."
Wayne wrote: "Buster had two and a half
years and a loving family that he would not have had otherwise. Maybe in this
case it was the quality and not the quantity of life that was most
important." |
