We gathered, as we've done so often, at the home of Elizabeth Kontur, her husband Joe, their two beagles (Sidney and Polly), and, now, their twin baby boys (Eric and Mark)—but this was the last time for a long time that we'll be able to gather at Elizabeth's because she, Joe, the boys, and the beagles are moving to Southern California.

So it was a bittersweet occasion, although we had a relaxing afternoon chasing babies and dogs, talking, eating, reminiscing.... And Mark chose this occasion to demonstrate that he had figured out how to get down and then back up the one step to the raised patio.

In attendance were Daneen, her two charming children (Caitlin and Daniel), and Megan; Wayne and Jeni with Halsey, Roey, and Jackson; Carol and Bruce with Molly, Zack the flyball champ, and Jake the yellow Lab; and Mimi and Dick with Jenny T. the dognosewhat, sometimes called the Tennessee mountain hound.

And here we are.... And thank you, Elizabeth and Joe, for all the marvelous afternoons spent at your various houses over all these past years. We'll miss you.
